Concise, formatting

This wiki intends to track predictions and descriptions of the future made by scientist, technology pundit and science fiction author David Brin.

While people are welcome to bring up "hits and misses" from various Brin novels, stories and nonfiction books, our main focus is upon his 1990 novel Earth, with its wide-ranging and very detailed envisioning of a world of the near tomorrow.  If you want to participate or add to the content, just go to the login page and get in here!

In a rough attempt at a "predictions registry," the aim is to see how well Brin has scored over the years.

If you have something quick to add, just dump it in the JunkYard and others can refine it later. Otherwise check out:

Predictions by Category

Remember, a wiki is a volunteer-community effort. Participants willing to put in a little time and energy and intellectual care, in order to add breadth and rigor (especially in the still very-rough) details sections, are welcome and appreciated.
